Crushed Tomatoes

Crushed tomatoes are a unique product, with an intense aroma and tasty flavour of a freshly grinded tomato.
 The crushed tomatoes, thanks to their dense consistency, make even the simplest dishes very tasty. 
A good combination of consistency and flavour for those who love thick sauces.
 Crushed tomatoes are also very suitable for food such as bruschette, pizza, lasagne, meat sauces.

The product may be directly consumed or depending on the consumer’s preferences may be used for the preparation of sauces or dressings, precooked dishes, etcetera.

Process description
When the tomatoes have been washed and peeled, they are inspected, selected, crushed and canned. Then, the can is sealed by welding the lid, sterilized, cooled and dryed.
 The sauce is then heated in a low temperature and pH is adjusted with citric acid only if necessary. Lastly, it is  reheated once again and poured hot into the can.

Preserving process
Pasteurized and with stabilized pH acidity through thermical processing (appertization process).

Manufacturing Process
Product made in tin band cans.

Keep at room temperature.
